EarthShare North Carolina, NC Environmental and Conservation Nonprofit, EarthSharePreserving and enhancing the natural environment is the purpose and mission behind EarthShare North Carolina’s 70 member non-profits. They partner with businesses across the state to engage employees in work of their members. Educating employees about the value of protecting North Carolina’s natural resources and promoting participation in the work of these organizations, brings much needed support.

EarthShare North Carolina organizations are working everyday to accomplish the following:

  • Protect and clean North Carolina’s air and drinking water
  • Preserve parks, rivers, forests, and heritage lands
  • Prevent urban sprawl and create smart growth
  • Adopt and implement pollution prevention strategies
  • Restore wetlands and preserve wildlife habitat
  • Promote energy conservation
  • Educate children and all residents to be stewards of our natural heritage
  • Improve the health and quality of life of North Carolina’s residents
