Although  we are getting ready to kick off National Poetry Month in another week and 9 days, I had to share this inspiring story now. I came across an article about a young man named Malcolm London who uses his experiences from his Chicago community, then channels his energy on creating something positive from these experiences through poetry. His young voice resonates with an epiphany of life as he knows it and paints a vivid picture of the reality he is surrounded by.

Malcolm London is a young poet, performer and educator who recently shared stages with Matt Damon and Lupe Fiasco in The People Speak, Live!
