environmental sustainability, favorite things for a cause, littering, pollution

Your surroundings can make a tremendous difference in your attitude, productivity, health and spiritual fulfillment. Through the years, Favorite Things for a CAUSE published stories about everyday men, women, children and benevolent organizations, who displayed a commitment to human, animal, educational and environmental advocacy. We enjoy bringing you stories about ordinary people doing some extraordinary things to make a positive difference in the lives of people around the world.

2014 is no different for Favorite Things for a CAUSE. Throughout many of our daily drives during the winter, we discovered that the leafless trees and bushes revealed a lot of hidden litter that seemed to stick out like a sore thumb. The ugliness of such careless and irresponsible disposal of garbage brings tears to your eyes. While many people feel that environmental advocates seem rather over-dramatic about taking care of Mother Earth, there is no exaggeration about the impact and toxicity of how pollution affects our environment and even moreso, our health.

We don’t have to involve governmental agencies when it comes down to taking care of our little piece of the earth. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to make positive and conscientious choices for you, your community and the world. On that note, to kick things off for this new year, we would like to make everyone aware of our FREE e-booklet that anyone can use as a template, to begin making positive improvements to their community and environment.
