Breast Cancer AwarenessThis month we are paying tribute to everyone affected by the ills of Breast Cancer. Research into the cause, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure of breast cancer is an ongoing campaign to support individuals affected by this disease.

Typically, breast cancer is known as a disease that affects women, but there are cases of men suffering from this disease as well. We will see many breast cancer charities increasing awareness and raising funds this month. Promoting mammograms is a critical weapon in early detection, but self-examinations are also just as important.

There is a tremendous amount of information, facts and support out here about breast cancer. Here is one of those resources to help you learn more about this disease and what you can do for yourself or someone you know who is suffering from this deadly disease. http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/types/breast

We would like to invite all of our readers to pay tribute to survivors you know and to those “in memory of” who fought the good fight against this disease. Awareness is the first step to understanding the next step of this journey.

  1. In memory of 2 dear friends who passed away due to complications from this disease: Pamela Mack and Marianne Daly. We miss them dearly!
