Happy Mother’s Day to all of our mothers, past, present and future. In many churches and in various customs, wearing a red rose or carnation symbolized the fact that your mother was still living. Wearing a white rose or carnation signified that your mother passed away.

Too often we take people for granted, especially our mothers sometimes. Many mothers take on multiple roles aside from their maternal role. Regardless of how unfair she may feel these multiple roles may be, she knows they must be done for the good of her children and family. But today, regardless of whether you are on the red rose side of the fence or the white rose side of the fence, let us celebrate the essence of the woman who gave birth to us and the ultimate roll of what a true mother emulates.

Happy Mother’s Day! Dance and Celebrate!
